Why ThreadLantern requests Google data
When you choose “Continue with Google,” ThreadLantern asks for access to the YouTube channel you authorize. It uses that access to identify your channel, import its channel, videos, and comments into your private workspace, keep that workspace synchronized, and apply a comment rejection only after you explicitly confirm it.
ThreadLantern does not post videos or automatically moderate comments. Access is limited to the channel you authorize and is used to provide the comment-review and moderation features described here.
