ThreadLantern Terms of Service

Effective August 1, 2026.

These terms are for ThreadLantern, operated by Alex Luy.

Creator responsibility

ThreadLantern provides comment search, review signals, and deliberate action controls. The Creator remains responsible for reviewing evidence and confirming each moderation action. ThreadLantern does not promise that spam signals are complete or error-free.

YouTube and third-party services

Use of Google, YouTube, Stripe, and other providers remains subject to their applicable terms. A Creator must have authority to connect and operate the authorized channel.

AI-assisted comment classification

By signing in and connecting an authorized channel, a Creator directs ThreadLantern to process public comments from that channel for spam classification, including sending bounded comment text to an AI service provider such as OpenAI. AI-assisted results are advisory review signals only. They do not automatically delete, hide, report, or otherwise moderate a YouTube comment.

Availability and changes

The public beta may change, pause, or experience interruption.
